CHAPTER 11

CHAPTER 11 formed in early 1994, hoping not only to reach audiences throughout the Midwest, but to influence the way people think nationwide.

Drawing on the talents of lead singer/acoustic guitarist Derik Norris, guitarist/vocalist Jamie Hatcher, bassist/vocalist Wade Boyle and drummer/percussionist Todd Green, the band has dazzled and amazed everyone who has seen them perform.  Everyone's childhood aspiration is to become a rock star, but no one has developed the ability to command the audience quite like Derik and Jamie.  Not to mention the driving beat provided by Todd and Wade subconsciously causes an audience to tap their feet forcing the crowd to dance wherever the band takes the stage.   Everyone agrees that CHAPTER 11 is the best rock and roll band that Indiana has to offer.

Working behind the scenes of every CHAPTER 11 concert is their professional sound, lighting and pyrotechnics crew ensuring exceptional sound and sonic perception by carrying far more equipment than most national acts would require.  Using such an enormous sound system forces the audience to feel the beat of the bass drum pumping through their chest; even if the audience does not want to listen.   If a patron will watch nothing else, they cannot help notice the hypnotic movement of the band's lighting FX's and dazzling pyrotechnics.

The bottom line to a band's success, however, lies in their music.  CHAPTER 11 begins by performing a few greatest hits of Rock and Roll, and then by adding songs from their releases,  IT'S NOT REALLY YOURS  and  PAGE ONE.  In the band's current performance radius, these independent releases are being received well.   Local radio stations have added CHAPTER 11 to their current play lists, rewarding their recording efforts.

Despite overwhelming local success, the band is not content to remain sedentary.  Derik and Jamie's energies were rejuvenated in early 1998 when Wade came back into the group after regular performances in California.  The band finished the recording of a follow-up to their first album and is performing in bigger and better venues.  They plan to build upon an already established fan base with the release of the full length album  IT'S NOT REALLY YOURS.
